Julian Woods Trio

Bassist, guitarist and composer Julian Woods is based in Harrow, London and is a postgraduate student at the Guildhall School of Music. Julian is often seen performing in a wide array of different groups at popular London jazz venues such as the Vortex Jazz Club and Cafe OTO.
For their debut performance at Plaquemine Lock, the Julian Woods Trio will explore popular jazz repertoire, such as music by Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Wayne Shorter, and Thad Jones. Julian on double bass will be joined by two up-and-coming young jazz talents: Benjy Sandler on alto saxophone and Luke Brueck Seeley on drums, both students at the Guildhall School and in-demand sidemen.
