Private dining at Plaquemine Lock usually starts with a cocktail, then builds with communal oyster shucking, and finishes with Mardi Gras beads flying.
You bring the people. We’ll handle everything else.

Our Spaces
It’s not just a crawfish boil, London makes it a party, and Islington makes it feel like home.
Posso Room – up to 30 guests standing, or 20
seated on stools. Private space with a curtain separator.
Dining Room – up to 15 guests on a one long table, or
up to 50 using several long tables. Exclusive area.
Whole Pub – up to 150 guests with mixed seating
and use of the outside area. Private.

What size bookings do you take?
For bookings of up to 10 people you can book via Seven Rooms here and enjoy our a la carte menu. For bookings of 11+ please contact us.
Can I see a menu?
You can see our sample set menu here or we can craft a bespoke menu. You may also arrange a drinks-only party.
Is Christmas & Thanksgiving different?
We offer a Creole Christmas set menu from November which includes persimmon salad, roast turkey, and pecan pie. All other information in these FAQs remains the same for the Christmas period.
What if we have dietary requirements?
All our menus can be adjusted, please contact us for assistance. Please note we will do what we can to minimise cross-contamination but our kitchen handles a number of different allergens.
What is the minimum spend?
For bookings of 15 or over people we require a minimum spend of £500, including for Happy Hour. For a whole pub booking we will provide a bespoke quote based on the date of your event.
Can we ask for music?
We have live music, or our own swampy playlist on the go. We can arrange a musician for you if you’d like. However it is not possible to control the music unless you have rented the whole pub.
Is there a deposit?
This will be the minimum spend, if one is quoted.
Payable by BACS or credit card.
