Live Music

Join us every weekend for live music in Angel – with a line-up of jazz, blues, brass bands, and bayou grooves. We have performances at:

Ten Bells Rag Band

Payday Fridays just got LOUD.

Last Friday of the Month

Angel meets the Bayou.

The Ten Bells Rag Band tear it up every payday Friday with New Orleans brass, second-line struts, and enough bayou energy to rattle the pint glasses. Think Mardi Gras in a pub: horns blazing, beads flying, beer flowing.

It’s the best live music night in London — no contest.

Jack Jules & The

Plaquemine Four

1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

The Plaquemine Four is less a band, more a New Orleans jam in full swing. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday, a fresh mix of hot young jazzers, surprise guests, and brass-toting regulars blow the roof off with trad standards, funk-inflected grooves, and moments of pure chaos. It’s the kind of night where you come for one song and stay for two sets — no setlist, no guarantees, just the raw joy of live improvisation. Anything could happen, and it usually does.
